Your Himachal Pradesh bike trip starts early today. Board the Kalka Shatabdi Express at 7:40 AM and enjoy the scenic train journey to Kalka with arrival time at 11:45 AM. From there you will board the Himalayan Queen, a UNESCO heritage toy train from Kalka to Dharampur with deoarture time at 12:10 PM. This train journey winds through mountains, tunnels and bridges and will give you a first glimpse of the landscape. Get down at Dharampur and then travel by road to Shimla which is 60 Km journey and take 3 hours to reach. On arrival, you will get a detailed orientation and briefing about the motorbike expedition. You will be introduced to your Royal Enfield, your partner for this epic road trip.
Evening interaction & briefing about your motorbike expedition followed by familiarize ride with your Machine the Royal Enfield. Then visit The Ridge, The Mall and bustling Lower Bazar market. Overnight stay at hotel.

Start your ride around Shimla, the "Queen of Hills". Start at the magnificent Vice Regal Lodge, also known as the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, a heritage monument from the British era. Ride up to the famous Jakhoo Temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman and enjoy the views from the highest point of Shimla. See the stained- glass windows of Christ Church on The Ridge, a 1850s structure. After the visit start the motorcycle adventure from Shimla to Narkanda which will take approx 3 hours to reach through steep hills. On arrival, check in the hotel and enjoy an evening view of Hatu Peak from Hotel. Situated at height of 11,000 feet, you will get an amazing 360 degree view of the mountains. Overnight stay at hotel.
Enjoy morning views from Hatu Peak and visit Hatu Temple. Post breakfast, head to Banjar Valley via Sainj and Jalori Pass. After 6 hours ride, you will reach Jibhi Village. Once in Jibhi, a nature lover’s paradise, walk around the market and visit the natural waterfalls surrounded by scenic landscapes. The road from Jibhi to McLeodganj takes you deeper into the valleys of Himachal. En route stop at Baijnath, an ancient Shiva temple and Palampur’s tea gardens. A highlight is the Norbulingka Institute, a center for Tibetan art and culture. On arrival in McLeodganj, also known as “Little Lhasa” you will experience the Tibetan culture that gives this Himalayan town its unique flavor. Start with a walk through the bustling Tibetan market of McLeodganj with handcrafted items, jewelry and textiles. Then visit the peaceful Dalai Lama Temple where you can see Buddhist monks praying. Try some authentic Tibetan food with hot momos, thukpa and Tibetan sausages. Later we will ride to Bhagsunag Temple, St. John’s Church and Tibetan Children’s Village School. Post breakfast, drive to Dalhousie via Chuwari Jot. Explore local attractions and Khajjiar which is also known as mini switzerland of India, Explore Tibetan markets and local cuisine. Overnight stay at hotel.
