The Nepal Odyssey tour will start from Kathmandu. You will receive a warm welcome after arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu with a Khada- a traditional ceremonial scarf symbolizing purity and compassion in Buddhist culture. Swoyambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple is an UNESCO World Heritage site in Nepal dedicated to Lord Buddha and situated on a hill 3 kilometers west of Kathmandu. It is believed to have originated from a lotus flower after Saint Manjushree drained a primordial lake. Visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square
The morning continues with a guided visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the historic center of the city and a showcase of Nepal’s royal past. Here you will explore centuries-old palaces, temples, and courtyards, where history and spirituality meet in everyday life.
Visit the House of the Living Goddess (Kumari), where you may catch a glimpse of the young goddess herself- a tradition unique to Nepal. Stroll through Ason Bazaar, a lively local market bursting with colors, spices, and street life. Admire Kasthamandap, the ancient wooden pavilion that gave Kathmandu its name.
Afternoon at Boudhanath Stupa
In the afternoon, visit the iconic Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Encircled by prayer wheels and monasteries, this sacred site is alive with the sound of mantras and the sight of pilgrims walking in devotion. The stupa has long been a spiritual stopover for Tibetan traders where you will be amazed to see Tibetan Buddhist culture.

Evening at Pashupatinath Temple
Later, head to Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu site dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located along the Bagmati River, it is both a place of worship and reflection, where ancient rituals are performed daily. The temple’s golden roofs, richly carved architecture, and riverfront Hawan ceremonies provide a moving insight into Nepal’s spiritual traditions.

Enjoy the breakfast and depart for Bandipur- a captivating Newari mountain town famous for its breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas and its vibrant cultural legacy, situated at an elevation of 1,005 meters above Dumre Bazaar, you will find great historical architecture, famous temples where people gather to celebrate festivals almost every time. A trip to Bandipur become more special with scenic surroundings of neighbouring villages and the Marsyangdi Valley extending from Langtang to Dhaulagiri. Historical caves such as Siddha Gufa and Patali Dwar offer outstanding opportunities for hiking. These are largest caves in Asia with a capacity to accommodate 2500 persons.
During your stay, you may take a leisurely stroll through the village in the company of the assistant or choose to spend the day as you prefer.

Upon arrival, enjoy a tranquil boating experience on Phewa Lake, Nepal’s second-largest lake. Its calm waters beautifully mirror the Annapurna peaks on clear days. A highlight of the ride is the island temple of Tal Barahi, accessible only by boat. On the eastern shore lies Lakeside, a lively area with charming hotels, cafés, and handicraft shops.
After boating, visit the International Mountain Museum, which offers a fascinating introduction to the world of mountaineering and the Himalayas. Its exhibitions showcase famous climbers, different mountain ranges across the globe, and the traditions of Nepal’s indigenous mountain communities. The museum also promotes awareness of environmental conservation and sustainable tourism.
Evening: Pumdikot Mahadev & Sarangkot
If time allows, we will proceed to Pumdikot Mahadev, home to an impressive 108-foot statue of Lord Shiva surrounded by 108 lingams. From here, you will witness captvating views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
We then continue to Sarangkot, a hilltop location renowned for its spectacular sunsets and panoramic Himalayan vistas, where you will stay overnight.

World Peace Stupa (Shanti Stupa)
After breakfast, we visit the World Peace Pagoda, perched high on Ananda Hill. Built as part of a global movement for peace after the tragedies of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, this gleaming white stupa is both a spiritual landmark and a vantage point, offering breathtaking views of Pokhara city, Phewa Lake, and the surrounding mountains.

Continue exploring with a visit to the Bindebasini Temple, one of Pokhara’s most revered shrines dedicated to Goddess Durga. Built before the unification of Nepal, this temple comes alive during festivals, especially Dashain.
Nature’s Wonders – Davis Fall & Gupteshwor Cave
We then head to Davis Fall, a dramatic waterfall that disappears into an underground passage, shrouded in legend. Just opposite lies the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, a vast limestone cave housing a sacred Shiva shrine and offering a fascinating subterranean experience.
Old Bazaar Walk
Later, explore Pokhara’s Old Bazaar, about 4 km from Lakeside. Unlike the touristy Lakeside area, this bustling market preserves the city’s traditional charm, with colorful shops, vibrant ethnic diversity, and striking Newar-style architecture. It’s the perfect place to soak in the local culture and atmosphere.
Gorkha Memorial Museum
Our cultural immersion continues at the Gorkha Memorial Museum, dedicated to the bravery of Gurkha regiments who have served in the British Army for over 200 years. Exhibits honor their history, courage, and the soldiers who earned the Victoria Cross—the Commonwealth’s highest military award.
The day will conclude with an overnight stay at the hotel, with breakfast and dinner provided.

After breakfast, trip will continue for Chitwan National Park- establishes approx 50 years ago. It is renowned for its conservation initiatives, the park provides sanctuary to remarkable species such as the one-horned rhinoceros, tigers, and gharial crocodiles. Upon your arrival, a comprehensive briefing will be conducted, and you will have the opportunity to engage in the various jungle activities available.

Start the day with a morning canoe ride on the Rapti River. As you float gently downstream, spot marsh crocodiles, gharials, and a variety of water birds. After breakfast, head out for a thrilling jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park. Keep your eyes open for one-horned rhinoceros, deer, monkeys, wild boars, sloth bears, and with luck, the elusive Bengal tiger. You may also see elephants and over 500 species of birds.
Return for lunch at the Jungle Camp/Resort and enjoy some leisure time. In the late afternoon, enjoy an elephant safari (or elephant briefing activity) where you learn about elephant behavior, conservation, and their role in local life.
In the evening, you will have the pleasure of experiencing a vibrant Tharu cultural performance, showcasing the rich traditions of the local community.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Nagarkot via Kathmandu. You can take short hikes to famous trails of Nagarkot. Visit Changunarayan Temple and enjoy rest of the day at leisure.
