The Karnataka Tour package will begin with Mysore, the cultural capital of Karnataka. During the short drive from Bangalore to Mysore, you will visit Srirangapatnam, an island fortress town, renowned associated with Tipu Sultan- the “Tiger of Mysore.” In this remarkable town, you will explore the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, which is a renowned Museum for its royal artifacts, weapons, and paintings.

After exploring the cultural city, drive will continue to Mysore. Mysore is well-known for the goddess Chamundeshwari Temple, royal grandeur, sandalwood, and silk items and the palaces constructed by Tipu Sultan. Feel its regal charm across the city’s palaces, tree-lined boulevards, and lively markets.

After breakfast, begin the Mysore City tour with a visit to the majestic Mysore Palace, a splendid Indo-Saracenic structure built in 1912. This place is a key highlight of the trip as the palace is adorned with stained glass, domes, and marble halls and get illuminated at night.

Next place on the trip is Somnathpur (33 km), where you will visit the exquisite Prasanna Chennakeshava Temple, a masterpiece of Hoysala architecture built in 1268 AD. If you have ever heard of South Indian Sculpture art, you will witness the beauty here at the temple’s premises in its intricate carvings, star-shaped platform, and detailed work done.

Get ready for an adventure in the evening where you will ascend on Chamundi Hill to visit the Chamundeshwari Temple, dedicated to Mysore’s guardian deity. En route, stop to see the Nandi Bull, carved from a single granite rock. Overnight stay at Mysore.

After breakfast, drive to Hassan where you will visit two famous temple complexes- Belur and Halebid as enroute places. In Halebid, visit the Hoysaleswara Temple (Built in 12th century) and adorned with hundreds of intricate carvings depicting gods, goddesses, animals, and mythical scenes. Afterwards, visit Chennakesava Temple in Belur that is equally famous for its delicate stone work.

After reaching Hassan, check in at your hotel and stay overnight.

After breakfast, drive will continue to Hospet, the gateway to Hampi. En route, you will visit Chitradurga Fort, a marvel of military architecture built between the 17th and 18th centuries. The fort, surrounded by rugged granite hills, features seven concentric walls, secret passages, watchtowers, and granaries, built by the Nayakas and later enhanced by Tipu Sultan.

Continue to Hospet for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Hampi, once the glorious capital of the Vijayanagara Empire (14th–16th century). This is a best site to feel the pulse of history where you will know about tales hidden behind its richness of being one of the richest and powerful cities in the World. Even the ruins of palaces, pavilions and markets depict the history of marvellous city.

Highlights of Hampi Tour include visit to Virupaksha Temple, Vittala Temple Complex with its iconic stone chariot, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables, and Queen’s Bath.

After breakfast, you will leave for Badamai- a historic town surrounded by rust-red cliffs and calm blue lakes. All these cities of Karnataka will take you to meet the heritage wonders of India. You will be overwhelmed to know about old dynasties which ruled India and created many historcial things which are interesting.

Badami was once the capital of the Chalukya Dynasty (6th–8th centuries) and looks like an open-air gallery of early Indian rock-cut architecture.

On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax.

Visit to Badami Cave Temples in the early morning which will be best explored in the golden light of sunrise. Within these caves, you will find various sculptures.

• Cave 1: Dedicated to Lord Shiva, depicting him in his 18-armed Nataraja pose.
• Cave 2 & 3: Dedicated to Vishnu, adorned with scenes of Varaha and Trivikrama.
• Cave 4: A Jain shrine with serene Tirthankara figures.

Also visit Bhutanatha Temple, beautifully reflected in Agastya Lake, and the Mallegitti Sivalaya Temple, one of South India’s oldest examples of Dravidian architecture.

Optionally, visit the Northern Fort temples and nearby Buddhist remnants that trace Badami’s diverse spiritual history.

After breakfast, drive north through scenic countryside to Hubli, also known as Mini Mumbai. En route, stop briefly at Naviluteertha Dam (Renuka Sagar Reservoir) near Saundatti to enjoy tranquil lake views and click beautiful pictures.

Upon arrival in Hubli, visit Unkal Lake, Chandramouleshwara Temple, Nuggikeri, and Nrupatunga Betta, offering panoramic views of the city.

Stay Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Hubli Airport for your flight to Mumbai- City of Dreams. On arrival, check in at hotel and proceed a half-day city tour, where you will visit The Gateway of India, Mumbai’s most iconic landmark. Drive past Marine Drive and Chowpatty Beach. Visit the Hanging Gardens, Dhobi Ghat, and the Prince of Wales Museum (closed on Monday).

Stay Overnight in Mumbai.

After breakfast, our team will take you on a ferry ride from the Gateway of India to Elephanta Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It will be an amazing day with exploring the Elephanta Caves, connected to the 6th–7th centuries and renowned for its colossal rock-cut sculptures of Lord Shiva. You will see famous Trimurti (three-headed deity symbolizing creation, preservation, and destruction). Return to your hotel for a stay overnight.
