  1. Day 01 Manali

    Our representative will greet you upon arrival and assist you in getting to your Manali hotel. The remainder of the day is free for recreation and touring. The Hadimba Devi Temple, old Manali, Tibetan Monastery, and the mall are all worth seeing. Staying in a hotel for the night.

  2. Day 02 Manali - Pandu Ropa (Approx 4 hrs Drive)

    We will drive to Prini after breakfast. We will start a 4-hour hike from Prini to Pandu Ropa, trekking along the Hampta Nala and into the jungle. Enjoy an overnight stay in Pandu Ropa's camp.

  3. Day 03 Pandu Ropa – Chikka

    Prepare for a regular trek in the morning after breakfast, as we will pass through forest and meadow on our way to Chikka camp, which is an ideal camp location. Take advantage of an overnight tent stay.

  4. Day 04 Chikka - Balu Ka Gera

    After breakfast, we will travel uphill to Juara, a difficult climb, and then a gentle ascent to the Balu Ka Gera camp site. Tents will be used for the over night stay.

  5. Day 05 Balu Ka Gera - Hampta Pass

    We'll leave after breakfast towards Hampta Pass, which has a 3-kilometer elevation. After 3 kilometres, a descent leads to the Camp Site, from where Mt. Deo Tibba and Indrasan, as well as a panoramic view of the Lahaul Valley, may be seen. Staying in tents at a camp site at Hampta Pass for the night.

  6. Day 06 Hampta Pass – Chatru

    Today, we'll descend to Chatru Campsite for an overnight stay in the Chatru Campsite.

  7. Day 07 Chatru – Manali

    We will leave Manali after breakfast and go via Rohtang Pass. We'll take an AC Volvo coach from Manali to Delhi. The voyage will take place over night.

  8. Day 08 Delhi

    Arrive in Delhi by morning.

Best Time to Visit Hampta Pass

From mid-June to mid-October is the finest season to hike to Hampta Pass- one of the best places to visit in Himachal. In the early days of the season, there is a potential of seeing snow on the high passes, but it melts completely by August. During the monsoons, rain is forecast in the Kullu-Manali valley, but the sun will shine brightly in Spiti as usual. The temperature is predicted to stay between 12 and 20 °C throughout the day, but at night, temperature at the highest campsite would be between -2 to 6 °C. In the latter half of the trekking season (Sep – mid-Oct) a bit of snowfall is a possibility. The temperatures throughout the day will be between 12-18 °C and the evenings will start getting cold with temperature decreasing down from 4 to -6°C.
