Cultural Trip To Punjab & Himachal Pradesh

Today you will arrive at Delhi International airport, after meet & greet you will transfer to hotel. On arrival check-in into the hotel. Later you will be taken for city tour of Delhi visiting combined city tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Raj Ghat , where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated . Red Fort , Made by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan , Jama Masjid , The largest in India, It has three great gateways, four angle towers and two minarets constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sandstone and white marble. Chandni Chowk , this main street of Old Delhi is the colorful shopping bazaar, known as Chandni Chowk. It has very sharp contrast to the open, spacious streets of Delhi. Laxmi Narayan Temple , dedicated to Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and good fortune . India Gate , this 42ms high stone of triumph is a war memorial . It bears the names of 85,000 Indian army soldiers, who died in the campaigns of WW I .Rashtrapati Bhawan - This palace-like building is the official residence of the President of India and an interesting blend of Mughal and western architectural styles . Qutab Minar - The highest monument of India. Overnight at hotel.’

After breakfast drive to Ptiala which is well known princely place in state of Punjab, it’s famous due to it’s Royal history. On arrival check-in into heritage hotel Baradari Palace. Later you will enjoy the visit to famous Palaces; Quila Mubarak, Sheesh Mahal, Moti Bagh Palace etc. After visit back to the hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast drive to City of Golden Temple – Amritsar, on arrival check-in into the hotel. Later proceed for half tour visiting Durgayana temple & Maharaja Ranjit Singh Panorama (Closed on Monday) Return to your hotel. Late evening after an early dinner proceed for Night Palki ceremony at Golden temple. Overnihgt stay at hote.

Around 0830 hours, proceed for Heritage walk of Old city of Amritsar starting from Town Hall. Finish your walk at Golden temple entrance and start your tour of Golden temple and Jallianwala Bagh. Late afternoon, you will proceed to Wagah border to witness Flag lowering ceremony / beat the retreat ceremony between India & Pakistan. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Breakfast, drive to Dharamshala (known as The Little Lhasa) via Masroor Temple. Dharamshala has colorful Tibetan market where we will have chance to taste of Tibetan food like hot momos, Thupka, Sausage etc…. End of the day we will walk in the market followed by visiting His Holiness the Dalai Lama temple. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast we will have full day free to discover this town. This day we will visit the major attraction of tourist like Bhagsunag temple, St. John’s Church and Norbulingka Institute. Evening free at leisure to relax for personal activities. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Manali most visited hill station in India, on arrival check-in into the hoel. Evening free at leisure to relax. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast, you will enjoy the half day visit Manali town visting Hadimba Temple, after that you will start Nature walk from Barua village to Vashisht village. Evening you will enjoy walk in mall road. Overnight stay at hotel.

Morning drive to Capital of Himachal Pradesh – Shimla, also known as hill’s queen. On arrival check-in into the hotel. Evening free for personal activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Morning after breakfast, you will be taken for city tour of Shimla visiting the capital of Himachal Pradesh with Vice Regal Lodge (known as Indian advance studies) and Jakho temple Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple or stop for a while at the beautiful stained – glass - windows of Christ Church, which was built in the 1850 ‘s. Afternoon visit Kufri a 30 Minutes drive from Shimla, well known picnic sport during British raj, this is an exotica of nature as a place surrounded by dense forest and snow caped mountains amidst virgin peaks and natures flora and fauna where one can completely relax and tune oneself for natural beauty. Afternoon visit The Christ Church, The Ridge, The Mall and bustling Lower Bazar market. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast drive to Chandigarh, on arrival you will visit Sukna Lake and Rock garden. In time transfer to Chandigarh railway station to board the train to Delhi. On arrival you will meet and transfer to Delhi International airport to board the flight for onward destination.
