Day 01: Arrive Leh; 3505 meters / 11567 feet

Arrive Kushok Bakula airport Leh and ladakh – 3500m above sea level. Transfer to hotel. Breakfast at the hotel before 09.30 am. Half Day at rest for acclimatization. After Lunch drive to Visit Shanti Stupa, Later in the evening walk around local market. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Leh.

Day 02: Leh Excursion to Matho, Stakna & Stok palace

Post breakfast we take an excursion to few more interesting monasteries of leh and start with Matho, lies 26 Kms south-east of Leh on the opposite bank of the Indus river. Stakna is a small monastery, comprising the private apartment, all newly decorated in good Tibetan style, a Du-khang and the rooms of monks and attendants. After covering above two monasteries we drive back to Leh and visit Stok Palace on the way, Stok lies south south of leh on the opposite side of the singe Tsangspo River. The castle was built on a hill at the end of village in about the year 1825 by king Tsespal Tondup Namgyal, back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Tour of Hemis, Thiksey, Shey monastery 3 Idiots School Campus & Sindhu Darshan Ghat

After a leisurely breakfast, we drive to visit Hemis Monastery situated 45km west of Leh; Hemis is the largest and the wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. From Hemis, you are driven back taking the same route to visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hill-lock with formidable views of the Indus valley. Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk. After that we continue to drive through series of chortens to visit Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. 3 Idiots School Campus Sindhu Darshan visit.Return back to the hotel for Dinner over Night at the Hotel in Leh.

Day 04: Leh – Liker ( 2 Hrs ) trek – Yangthang (3/4 Hrs )

Today we drive you to Liker (45 km) from Leh towards. Upon arrival at Liker you will drop your baggage at the trekking point, to visit Liker monastery. The trek starts above the village. You will arrive in Yangthang through Sumdo village and small passes, including Phobe La (3,550m) and Charatse La (3,650m). Overnight home stay at Yangthang.

Day 05: Yangthang – Rezong – Hemis Shukpachen (5/6 Hrs )

After breakfast, you will proceed towards Rezong. You will descend along a stream with dense plantations of apricot and apple. After one hour you will reach a nunnery and then visit monastery, which is totally isolated and bound by mountains on all sides. Proceed to Hemis via a small pass , a short and pleasant walk, arriving in Hemis Shukpachan by afternoon. For the rest of the day explore the village. Overnight home stay at Hemis Shukpachan.

Day 06: Hemis shukpachen – Ang (3-4 Hrs) – Leh (95 Km 2/3 Hrs)

Today is a bit longer compared to the previous days. You will leave the village and proceed toward Temisgam via Maptek La (3,750m). You will cross a pass with great views of Ang village. From here, the trail descends into Ang village and Drive back to Leh

Day 07: Leh + Departure

In time transfer to Leh airport to board the flight for onward destination.
