Heritage means what we retain from our ancestors and from our intervening decades. India is a land of varied cultures and traditions. Our country is home to people of many castes, faiths, and creeds. Each ethnic group in our country has its own story to share about its origins, as well as its own set of traditions and culture. They've all played a role in shaping Indian history and culture. Elders should take responsibility for nurturing in younger generations a love for the Indian heritage. Only by doing so from the outset will we still be able to maintain our great legacy. It is the elders' responsibility to foster a love for Indian ancestry in the younger generations.
